Yeditepe University Department of Visual Communication Design which joined the  2nd İstanbul Design Biennial Program received the second prize with the project ‘Tevazu’ among 72 projects within 33 academic instutitions in total from Turkey and abroad. The 2nd Istanbul Design Biennial was titled The Future Is Not What It Used To Be, and was curated by Zoë Ryan ended on 14 December and the six-week long event hosted over 100,000 visitors since its opening on 1 November. Councils gathered at Yeditepe. Student Councils hosted by our University were conducted  on 24-25 October. The opening of the Event was done by our Founding President Bedrettin Dalan with the participation of 39 Universities from Turkey. Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Prof. Dr. Canseyit Tüymebayev visited our university. Agreement in principle has been reached between our University and relevant Institutions and Universities in Kazakhstan on issues such as Turkish History, Comperative Historical Grammar of Turkish Languages within the scope of the visit.
